Budget after marriage!

May 31, 2006

I have always lived without budget in my bachelor life, which was till last year!
I have lived a lavish life till date, but after marriage I see a sudden change in my life that we have to live under the budget. First of all, the new fact is introduced that I need to prepare a budget for every month and live accordingly.

I have heard previously that more expenses would be there than the income – mostly after marriage!

If you are a bachelor now, please take this 2 cents of advice from me – Go ahead and start saving, while you enjoy your life. I am not telling you to just save, without enjoying your life – but start saving, while you have good time…

It is more valuable to have the money saved in your early days, rather than later. Rs.500 per month in bachelor life is more valuable than Rs.5000 per month in your 40 years of your life! This is a fact and everybody accepts it!

There are couple of ways we can increase your income –
(i) look for a better lucrative job
(ii) work hard in the company you are currently working and aim for a hike in the current job or get promoted
(iii) While you are on job, look for extra income
(iv) Start doing business – More risks you take, there is more possibility of gains as well.
(v) Most importantly reduce your unwanted expenses. That is one most important point of view – which most of the indians try to follow.

Software Services is a best business – Anytime and NOW

May 31, 2006

The majority of small and medium-sized companies cannot do business without their PCs and internet connections, according to a survey.

A report by security company McAfee and IT outsourcer WireworX found that 84 per cent of those questioned rated PCs and the internet as ” indispensable” to their everyday working life.

But despite this level of dependency, four out of five companies are unhappy with the levels of support provided by IT vendors, and only 14.5 per cent are completely satisfied with all aspects of the purchase and support process.

This shows a right gap for fitting in to do the service business of software. It is even great if it is started in Madurai, to leverage more advantages!!

Excerpts from the article are –
Odds are, however, that you’re still working for someone else. Maybe it’s because you’re afraid to give up that steady paycheck. Perhaps you’re simply terrified by the thought of placing yourself at the mercy of greedy investors, cutthroat competitors, and a potentially indifferent marketplace. Whatever the reason, it’s clear that there’s a lot of unrequited entrepreneurial longing out there.
