Actor Sarathkumar who had resigned from DMK last week and his wife Radhika joined AIADMK in the presence of Chief Minister and AIADMK Supremo J Jayalalitha on Monday.The couple took a private aircraft yesterday morning to Madurai from Chennai to meet the Chief Minister who was in election campaign at Theni.The actor formally enrolled himself into AIADMK and received his basic membership party card.
He cited that DMK’s family politics and threats for having transferred his allegaince to AIADMK and swore that he would be a loyal party member to AIADMK . He was further quoted that he is deeply impressed by Chief Minister’s staunch decision on many occasion and would be happy to serve her party forever.
It is believed that this move was expected since DMK did not consider the actor for a ministeral berth at the centre.Bhakiyaraj’s entry into the party has also jeopardised Sarth’s position in DMK.And also Radhika is to head a Private Satellite channel which is duely to be started by a leading Newspaper magazine.
Well as the new saying goes…All is fair in love,war and politics!!.
